Outlook 2003 won't sort by category!

Good day!

I came across this problem today, and I don't know what caused it.

I have an outlook 2003 installation on a computer responsible for correspondences (which implies that it is heavily used and contains hundreds of contacts and thousands of emails)

It just won't sort messages according to categories that are defined for each entry in address book. It just stopped like this. It is sorting by all other criteria.

Should I try to re-install it? Won't this delete all of my settings? Or there's a way to save the settings or exports them to a place where I can import them back?
