Outlook 2007 will not load

I have vista basic and office enterprise 2007. all of the applications work except Outlook. It doesn't even begin to load. It goes straight to the "Windows is searching for a solution" box. Like I said before, every other application works fine. I ran the office diagnostics and it turned up nothing. 0 errors. I attached the pop up I get if I hit cancel on the "windows is searching" box. It brings up an error 0x80000003 error. Thanks for any help.

 

Not sure which OS you are using, but if its Vista:


Rename C:\Users\Jeremy\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\extend.dat and try again.

 

obviously fred yours would be a different name to jeremy lol but good advice none the less... i think adrynalyne is quite good at this :-D

I know this has been a while since I posted it. I had actually given up on getting this to work. I have really missed using office though so I thought I would give it another try. I tried the steps posted above and went to the folder. When you said rename it, i just changed the name of the extend.dat file to see if that is what you meant. Same result. I moved the file. Same result. I posted a screenshot of the folder if it is needed. Any other suggestions?
