Outlook 2016

Once again Outlook 16 refuses password

This is getting ridiculous and a PIA
Outlook 16 at any given time will not receive incoming messages. After a bit, an error message pops up stating Outlook needs my password.
It may take it, then work for a while before going through this cycle again. Sometimes I have to try several times before I can access my incoming mail.
This event is becoming more frequent. I have double checked settings, cleared and reentered correct settings.

 

I took Outlook out of my computer's system completely, then downloaded the program afresh Now Outlook is functioning properly, or at least it is for now, I contacted my cable provider that carries my ISP and they instructed me on how to run a test on their service which showed no anomoly's
So, at least for now all is running OK. However, I am not holding m breath this won't happen again in the near future
