Outlook date file

    How do you create a small file, that is importable into outlook, of a list of dates?
    I have seen online, e.g. season dates for a clubs matches.
    What is the filetype?
    And, how to create your own, so that it can be forwarded to friends, or posted on a website so that it can be downloaded?

    csv files which can be open using excel i believe can also be exported and imported by outlook.

    you can create csv files using exce. Just make sure when saving you change the save type from xls or xlsx if using office 2007 to .csv

    And do they populate into Outlook calendar, icluding Subject & Location fields??

    I can send a file with one date, but not several dates.
    I think filetype is either *.vcs or *.ics.
