outlook disappears

    my outlook set up is getting snatched or for some reason is going away. when i start outlook it goes into set up. i can do a restore to a known good date and all is well again. do i have a virus that avg is not picking up or what? it is just like i have never set up the outlook. when i look there are not any settings in it as far as the mail provider, etc. anyone know whats up with this?
