Outlook error message, looking for files not there

I get an error message that pops up the first time I read an email in Outlook. (The error message is attached) It doesn't inhibit anything, it's just anoying. I expect it is related to removing the Symantec software. Symantec is no longer on this computer. Outlook is looking for something that is no longer available.

The error message says to use "Detect and Repair on the Help menu". I did that, but still get the error message the first time I read an email.

The forum wouldn't let me attach the file to this message. It said You have already attached this file in thread : "can't access some web sites" (at http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=68130)

The error message reads: The add-in "C:\Program Files\Symantec_Client_Security\Symantec AntiVirus..." could not be installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu. Unable to load "C:\Program Files\Symantec_Client_Securit...". You may be out of memory, out of system resources, or missing a .dll file.

How do I get rid of this error message?

 

THIS is OUTLOOK and NOT outlook express?

If it is outlook, START OUTLOOK.

Then:

Click Tools, then Options. Click the "other" TAB. Next click "Advanced Options" button. Click the "Add-In options" Button.

Within the add-in manager, if you see any symantec/norton products within there, uncheck them, hit OK. OK. OK. Try it now.
