You leave alot of info out of the equation...

Did this just start up for no reason (as far as you know)?
Or have you recently installed/re-installed a program?
Or did you get this right installing Outlook?
What version of Outlook?
What OS are you running?
Have you tried running the "detect and repair" program that is under the 'Help' button in Outlook?

Others may differ on advise, but this is what I see missing from your post.
Let us know more...

 

Os = XP pro
Office= 2003
Just started to happen.
No i have not tried the detect and repair option. I'll try it now...Brb

In order to get rid of this annoying message at startup of MS Outlook, access the registry and using the find (search) option, type in sbcmsync.dll and delete the entry in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER, SOFTWARE, MICROSOFT, OUTLOOK, ADDINS registry hive. Of course keep in mind that you are in the registry where everything happens in 'real time' (RAM), therefore as a precaution rename the entry or backup your registry first. BTW - I'm bucking for General Geek - love this site!
