Outlook error

Hello all,
I'm having a problem with my Outlook(2002). When i try to switch profile it acts as if it is going to open then it fails. The odd thing is that it opens to the other profile i have available. Strange! It also state if you want to open in safe mode, but it reject it and completely fails. This application is running on Windows XP pro. I also tried detect and repair and it successfully repairs but open to the same issue. Also when i check event view it show the following error:
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 10.0.2627.1, faulting module msvcrt.dll, version 7.0.2600.1106, fault address 0x00033e08.

Any ideas or tricks are Welcome
