    Howdy Folks,

For the last couple of days, when Outlook 2002 is opened it generates an error:
"You do not have sufficient privleges to modify the current configuration."
I'm logged in as administrator, and I'm not trying to modify anything.

As the opening of Outlook continues it generates another error:

'The add-in C:\Program Files\Panda Softwere...."could not be installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using detect and repair on the help menu. Unable to load "C:\Progream Files...." You may be out of memory, out of system resources, or missing a .dll file"'

Its a Dell dimension 4300, with XP SP2 professional. MS office and windows are up to date. Panda Platinum was installed but virus definitions out of date. I ran detect and repair, with no change. This machine also runs Zone Alarm, with AV turned off.

I unistalled Panda Platinum. No change. I went to install Panda Titanium but Panda's install program says eTrust EZ Antivirus is installed. This eTrust EZ was news to me. I checked the MG thread on how to unistall eTrust EZ Antivirus, but it was not where the unistall directions suggested. There is no sign it is installed on my machine, except CCleaner sees it as a utility. There are no Computer Associate files in program files, or under CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE in the registry. And it does not appear on "Add/Remove Programs". I did a search for files containing "eTrust EZ" and came up with some windows update files.

I ran Adaware, spyware blaster, and CCleaner. I ran Kaspersky's on line scan and it found some junk in an old outlook .pst file, but I dont think those are the problem since that file has not been accessed anytime recently. Finally, I turned on and updated ZA's AV, which found nothing.

Something above stopped the first error about "not having sufficient privleges", I think it may have been uninstalling Panda.

I went to Outlook's Tools>Options>Tab Other>Add in manager and unchecked PAV. this stopped the second error about the "Add in could not be loaded"

Does anyone know what happened to generate the initial "you do not have sufficient privleges" error? Any ideas what generated both errors? Lastly, what's up with eTrust EZ Antivirus? Where did it come from and how can I get rid of it? Am I missing something?

    Thanks.
