I'd like to save my address book. In Outlook express this is pretty easy when the computer is working (File -> export address book)

In this case, the computer is not booting. I can slave the drive and access data that way, but I don't know where the outlook express 6 address book is.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Try slaving the drive and navigating to:

    C:\Documents and Settings\_user_\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book

and look for file extensions .wab (Windows Address Book)

    Thanks, that did it!

Also, if it were Outlook 2003 would it be the same place? And what about backing up the Outlook 2003 calendar and messages. (Assuming the computer is crashed...)

Is it safe to assume that all the Outlook Data is ultimately in the "Application Data" folder?

    Thanks again,
    Also
What if I wanted to save all the messages -- the inbox for instance. How could I do this?
    Thanks..

by the way... I think the answer is C:\Documents and Settings\_User_\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

    Hope this helps somebody.............
