Does anyone know how to prevent my contact list from adding the contacts in MSN Messenger? I periodically check my email and my contact list is filled with my 13 year olds friends. I really do not want to e-mail them nor do I want to search through 40 e-mail addresses to find the 1 contact I need to send a message to. I delete them and then 2 days later, they are back.

    arrrrggghhh!

    Thanks.

    Hi

Is your 13yr old using the same email address as you for MSN Messenger? as that would cause the contacts to automatically be added to your address book.

No, she has a hotmail account that she uses. Our e-mail may have been used to set that up, not sure.

You don't have to do that. Just start typing the address to whom you're sending and it will appear if it's in your contacts. You could also create one or more additional folders in contacts to separate your addresses from those that get added from the younster's MSN account.
