My OS is XP. I just upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007. I was using Outlook Express as my primary e-mail program when I had Microsoft Office 20003 and everything worked fine. Having upgraded, though, when I perform a spell check on my e-mails before I send them, the spell checker highlights and questions the spelling of EVERY WORD, even if it IS spelled correctly. I figured there must be something wrong with the dictionary. Either it's in a different language or it wasn't included in the upgrade at all and is therefore checking the spelling against no reference. Is there any way to tell what's going on and how can I solve this little hiccup? Thanks.

Thanks for the speedy reply... I wonder if Microsoft plans to remedy the problem. You would think that they would've thought to include this in the new software as English is obviously a language that a large population of MS users speak. Oh well...:confused

This might sound stupid but I can't figure out how to download the Spell Checker for OE 2.1 off of that page. I don't see anything that says Download Here.

To download Spell Checker for OE 2.1 (from Major Geeks) click here and then click on one of the links which are located right underneath the words "Free Downloads From"

Note: The 'download links' area looks like this:

Thanks. It said it couldn't complete the install. Oh well! The problem I'm having is I installed Office 2007 and use MSN Premium mail which now has no spell check (no dictionary installed). Some other forums recommended a 3rd party spell checker and said that a previous version of Office could work if you only install the proofing tools. I did that and the spell check worked great... but now I could not dowmload templates or other add-ins because the 2003 version of Office is not and can not be validated! Augh! I don't know how to make Spell Checker for OE 2.1 install correctly or make it work once installed. Help?
