    Hello:

I am running WinXp Version 2002, SP 3, IE 8, on a Dell System and noticed the following errors on my Outlook Express.

"Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be intialized. Outlook Express may not be installed correctly"

"Outlook Express could not be started. The application was unable to initalize the global options manager. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. Contact Microsoft support for further assistance. (0x80004005).'

The computer was running fine with no issues no other program additions.
Now I cannot access my mail client or the email and folders that was there.

Presently, I have moved over current email operations to Outlook 2007, but have some folders and emails that I need to access on the outlook system.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi everyone:

Solved my problem by taking the computer back to an old restore point.
Aside from a slight issue with my E-SET anti-virus, the OE is working fine now with all folders intact.

So if anyone has had this similar problem, trying setting your computer back to when your system was working with OE performing fine.

    Thanks
