Has anyone every tried out the Outlook Express exact word rule. I setup a rule to look for the exact word "CIALIS" (the new Viagra) and delete it. Problem is, the rule not only deletes messages with the word CIALIS in it but also deletes any messages with the word specialist.
SpeCIALISt. This is really a pisser. Seems like Microsoft should rename this from an "Exact Word" rule to a "String rule." I don't want to setup any other rules for fear of the same thing happening.

I tried putting quotes around the CIALIS but then it completely ignores the text. Any help would be much appreciated.

    .

Are you using the double " or the single ' ? I have had luck using the single quote mark. Try that and see if that helps any. Also here is a site about message rules http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/tips/rules.htm

    Hope this helps. :)

sometimes the spammers use the ascii values of the characters which are not picked up by the rules.
