outlook express opens very slow

Outlook Express takes 2 minutes or more to come up. I am having this problem more than three weeks now, and I can't figure out why.
As far as I can remember I didn't change any system settings expect installing updates and hot fixes from MS update site.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

System Info: P4 32.Ghz CPU, 1.20G DDR RAM, SATA 120 GB HD, ATI 9600pro 256MB graphic card, On board sound and LAN, Asus PC4800e delux MB, DVD burner , DVD rom, XP pro (w/SP2).

If you have not changed anything, there is a possibility that something hidden is messing with you. It is a good idea to spend an hour or so running through those steps just to be sure that you don't have malware on your system. If you do, they will help you get rid of it there, if you're clean, then post back here for further help.
