Outlook Express - Orange toolbar

Hi all ,
I recently discovered that when I open up outlook express it only shows an orange toolbar. (Windows xp Prof, service pack 3) , but I can still see it receiving emails. I can also search for emails.

I have looked for an orange toolbar in 'add/remove programs' but it is not there. (I dont even have one on IE6).
Also I have tried rolling back a couple of times but unsuccessful both times. (Im gonna try more in a min).
Also done a scan with norton.

and the post
"If the bar is annoying you, go to View/Layout and remove the tick from the 'Info pane'.
You will hide the toolbar."

and all my email reappeared!
