heres the story, sometime yesterday, i was gonna send my friend a flick through the email,
so i started sendin it and went out to eat.
well, when i finally get back, its not done, but almost.
and whatever happens that i closed it out b4 it was done,so now i cant check my mail w/o this startin back up.and its gettingg annoying, it goes really really slow, and i always end up
    ctrl+alt+del to close it out.

so can someone tell me how to fix it. maybe turn the outbox off,so it wont send that pr0n.lol

    thx for any help ppl:)

Well theres a couple of options in OE that may help,
Click on tools--options and under the general tab you can uncheck the box send and recieve on start-up this would give you time to maybe delete the offending file
Or under the send tab you could uncheck the box send messages immediately
this might buy you some time

If you delete the item from your outbox this should solve your problem

Agreed Cowboy hes going to have to start it at least once to apply the settings, but then he can close out and restart and should be good to go

Hi Cowboy maybe im getting confused as its early morning here, this is my take on the matter
Rice is trying to send a large attachment which just slows up his connection and restarts every time he starts OE because of the default setting of Send and recieve on start-up, so if he starts OE lets the stupid attachment carry on regardless and goes to tools and changes the settings posted then quits out of OE, goes back to OE because of the changes made the offending file would hopefully not re-activate giving Rice the chance to go to his outbox and delete it

    Hopefully this would work

Dam i cant keep up with this editing LOL, in his first post he said he can close out, anyway come on Rice where are you let us know what happens :D

    already did it,but was online.
still, it freezes up as soon as i click the msg and try to delete it.
after the error report, it said ms is awarer of the problem and is workin on it.
is it possible to uninstall OE???
    maybe that'll help.lol

btw thanks for the help all:D

You might have run up against some kind of maximum attachment size limitation...

But you should be able to correct the problem without uninstalling OE.

Just delete your Outbox.dbx file, when you start OE it will be recreated as empty.

Yeah its going to take a hell of a time to download it the other end

Im quite surprised your e-mail client actually sent it, theres always the chance it wont be accepted at the other end and it gets returned to you :p
