Outlook Express problems

When I go into Outlook Express [or Outlook] it doesn't send or receive e-mails because the Incoming mail (POP3) server is set to my PC's IP address. But whenever I change it back to what it should be it returns to my PC's IP address upon the PC being restarted.

Is this some kind of Malware (the ISP support helpline seemed to think so) and if so how do I fix it?

    Cheers

I'm moving you to the Software Forum because I don't think this is malware. I would be willing to bet you have McAfee software installed. They are know for causing this problem and I never saw them give a solution. Mine was to uninstall it and use something smaller, faster, and more reliable. You could just try uninstalling (if the individual item can be) their SpamKiller. It think it was the problem.
