    Hello all,

I'm wondering, if it is possible, to set up a quick way to change the name that is sent with emails using outlook express.

Basically, I want to know if I can send emails from the same email address, but have the recipients see it coming from different names depending on my choosing?

For example, Usually I could send an email and the recipient would see an email message from John Smith. But I want to be able to choose from my end, to send it as J Smith or John smith depending on who I'm sending it too?

I'm hoping I made some sense to some of you smart folk!

    Thanks in advance.

You could create a second email account in Outlook Express (OE); of course, you'll have to give that account a name different from your existing email account, but the everything in it would be the same except the name you enter to be displayed as the sender, or person from whom the message was sent, as seen by the recipient. Then, when you create a message, you can select the FROM account in that message composition panel.

I'm not using OE at the moment so I'm speaking from recall. If you have questions, post back. I can get on a computer with OE.
