    Hello~
I did not know where else to look for help. I have searched your pages before and received alot of help from these boards, so I am back asking for help this time.

I am currently using Windows XP Home Edition, 256 MB Ram, Raedon 7500 video card, not sure of Processor (sorry). The problem I am having has to do with Outlook Express. When I receive pictures either forwarded by someone and not when I go to forward them to other people, seem somehow they get stripped out of the email while being sent to receiver. The people I send them to receive the box with the red x in it. Also I looked under prop in OE and under the support tab, next to "start in" it has this %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH% to me that does not seem right.
    Any help would be great.....!
    Thanks, blkraven83

    Welcome to MajorGeeks
Go to Tools/Options/Security/make sure Internet Zone (Less secure but more functional) is checked-- if not check and apply
Also--- Do not allow attachements to be saved etc-- is unchecked if not uncheck and apply.

Its like as soon as I hit send they vanish.....(pictures that is)......No one is receiving them. I do not understand. Could it be some form of virus?
    Thanks, blkraven83~

    Go to Tools/Options/Send

Which box is checked under "Mail sending format"? Try changing it to HTML if it's in Plain Text. See if that does the trick. If not, set it back to what it was before.

    Hope this helps.

So the mail sending format didn't fix it then? Hmm. wonder what's up.

If you figure this out, make sure you post back here so we can know how to fix it next time.

I'm wondering if it may be the settings on the computers of the people receiving the emails? Just a thought.

When I receive from someone, I can see the pic, but when I try to forward it to someone else, they can't. But, I don't think it is their computer, cause I sent it to myself, and I get the box with the red x, too. So, I am thinking it is in my settings somewhere. I just don't know where.

    1. Load Outlook Express 6.

    2. Click Tools -> Options.

    3. Next, click the Send Tab.

    4. Under the Mail Sending Format header, and ensure that HTML Button is highlighted as your mail sending format.

    5. Next, click on the HTML Settings Button, and ensure that SEND PICTURE WITH MAIL has a checkmark.
