Outlook Information From Unbootable HDD

I was wondering is there a way I can get old E-Mails and Contacts from Outlook from a HardDrive that is unbootable. I have it hooked up as a slave and I can see it and everything. Any ideas would be great.

 

You certainly can! What you want to do is copy the .pst files found in driveroot\documents and settings\username\application data\microsoft\outlook and driveroot\documents and settings\documents and settings\username\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook to similar direcories on the new drive.

Then, when you open outlook, be sure not to specify any data files, etc. Instead, point it to the outlook.pst file in the local settings directory!
