Outlook is possesed.

Everytime I restart my Outlook, it reloads 1200+ emails that I have previously deleted.

Any ideas?

It's outlook 2003 on XP.

You mean Outlook repeatedly downloads the same messages from your ISP's email server, right? Can you view your email via a WebMail interface? In other words, does your ISP offer a WebMail feature that allows you to view your email via a web browser?

I think the mail server may have a corrupt message that is not downloading to your computer. Thus, the mail never fully downloads and, the next time you retreive email, all those messages, which are still on the server, get downloaded again.

So, if you can access your mesages via Web Mail, you may able to find a message that's causing a problem.

If you mean that all those messages are appearing again when you open Outlook, even if you're offline, then you've got other problem.

What, exactly, do you mean? What happened?

I would try contacting your ISP's tech support.

Well, it loaded up the emails twice and I deleted them all off. I ran CCleaner and rebooted and all is well.

Go figure.
