I'm trying to get Outlook working again and have been trying to access the .pst file to onload contact information but receive the message: Unable to open your default e-mail folders. File access denied. You do not have the permissions to access the file: C:Documents & Settings\..... It appears that I have full permissions to this folder, but maybe I've tweaked something incorrectly at some point. Ideas anyone?

    Appreciate your help...

    Hi IMSA

Try looking in your Outlook Personal Folder for any PSTs named as maybe old, or with a number like outlook[1] as likely or hopefully it was kept when you created a new account.

Can find the Outlook saved pst folder by opening Outlook adn clicking File > Data File Management or File > Open > Outlook Data File
