Outlook .pst problem.

Somehow my .pst file has disappeared.

I cannot find it using the scanpst.exe method.

Outlook will not open at all even after a clean install of Office 2003.

Please help.

Have you tried running Detect and Repair from the add/remove programs menu?

XP Pro SP2 and I have tried reinstall, repair but still cannot find .pst file using Scanpst.exe.

START, SEARCH, FILES OR FOLDERS:
Type in *.pst
Also, click the dropdown menu for MORE ADVANCED OPTIONS:
Make sure SEARCH HIDDEN FILES & FOLDERS is checked.

 

Thanks Ralph but had already done all that (that's how I found the Scanpst.exe)

All hidden files showing and still zip!!

If above does not help, try searching for the .bak file, see NOTES in link, you might be able to recover the file.
