Outlook Requires "download Pictures."

To read each piece of my email, Outlooks is requiring me to cue "download pictures" for security purposes, to wit keep someone else from identifying me.
That's a pain in the keyboard.
Played around with Outlook, was able to find override - I thought. I opted not to used that download feature, but next time I opened Outlook, I was again required to download pictures. It's still a pain.
Is there something I missed or did wrong? Or am I doomed to MS's security purgatory?

    Tnx

You can add email adresses from family, close friends, and domains to the Safe Senders List.

    No it isn't.
One has to be careful with those people who forward all the humorous emails they receive - you don't know where the emails originated.
