Outlook - starting microsoft office word 2003 as your editor locks up

i've searched old posts about the same problem, but still nothing has fixed it. I have Office fully updated with service pack 3. I've renamed the normal.dot file. Also there is no antivirus running with Outlook. Still Outlook locks up completely when I try to reply to an e-mail. Is there another way to fix this so I can use clipart through Outlook without having to integrate Word?

 

Without knowing what those old posts contained, have you tried repairing the install? How about removing it, and blowing it from the Registry?
