outlook time out

what is the deal with outlook time out? i use hotmail with as my e-mail server but when sending and receiving it time's out! this yanks my chain!!! any ideas?

 

Check your pop3 and smtp settings are correct.

Try looking on hotmail.com in the help section (if they have one, I dont know because I never used it).

 

outlook 2007 issue

i connect the internet via my mobile ph, since i have owned my computer i have never had trouble dowloading my hotmail account through outlook. i have been i china for the last ten days and connecting through a hotel lan cable, no problems there. but since, on my way home through airports and using wireless and now back home in nz, my outlook won't download my e-mail! it shows only subject and date sent. 2 times it has downloaded a full e-mail. what the hellis going on! most annoying...
