Outlook vs. Outlook Express

Hi Y'all,
Just found you 2 days ago and have gone nuts. This site is an answer to my prayers!
I have a question and have given up on MS & Co.

Can I get Outlook 2000 without Office?
Want desktop calender (getting old and had brain tumor removed and forget things) :cryand did not know there was a difference between outlook and outlook express until today.

 

Yes, you can purchase just Outlook. Here is a link to a bunch of retailers and their price ranges. You'll see that the version being offered is 2007. You won't have any luck finding old versions unless they're used.

I love Outlook too, it's a great tool. I think I became dependant on it ever since I worked in the Banking industry.

I only use Outlook Express for e-mailling. Didn't know there was a calendar. :-o

Oh, Ok. I have Microsoft Works as I use the spreadsheets allot for various monitoring of data.

 

I just thought this was interesting, as I also have OE, but no calendar on that, but do have a nice calendar in Works... After I read the posts, I had to stop looking for a calendar in my OE! :-D
