Outlook woes in 2007

    System: Win XP Pro, V2002, SP2; Intel (®) Pentium® D CPU 3.00Hz 3.00 GHz, 960 MB of RAM; IE 8, MS Outlook 2007, Paint Shop Pro Version X, MS Outlook 2007 (also X2 Ultimate, prefer to work in X).

    My settings are all messed up in outlook 2007

    This is not the way I want the navigation pane displayed

    Well, just saying "This is not the way I want the navigation pane displayed" is not helpful to us. How do you want it to display?

    If it's simply the navigation pane you aren't happy with it's View > Navigation Pane and choose the setting you do want - Normal maybe?

    Looking more carefully it looks as if your problem is that you have lost the From column. You can reinstate that by right clicking the pale blue bar immediately below Click here to enable Instant Search and selecting Customize Current View > Fields
