outlook won't work after malware repair

hey there,
I had some malware and followed the instructions for cleaning windows xp - it did the trick except now i can't open Outlook (no probs before) it opens then hangs there until i force quit. it doesn't happen on start up but after I have opened other items then it. any suggestions?

Are you fully sure your malware free, as to be sure you would have to start a new thread in the Malware Forum area and attach the requested logs as their "could" be some reminents of malware left still causing your software issues and let the malware experts give your logs a look over.

Which Outlook? Outlook Express or Office Outlook.

If Office Outlook you could try a detect and repair from its Help menu ( if Office 2007 then location is different so please post version )
