Outlook XP - large number of return emails from postmaster

Hi,

We are expecting a possible virus problem on one of our email aaa@xxx.com account. We are getting a huge number of return emails from postmaster@xxx.com with the body of the email with a bunch of semicolons saying the that the email cannot be delivered to the recepient. It is trying to send a reply to each and every email i get (mainly to spam emails) and am getting a postmaster reply saying i the message cannot be delivered.

We are using Outlook XP (small business).

I tried the following to rectify the problem but no luck.

1. Uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook ( after doing this it stopped sending , to valid emails but it did not stop sending to Spam emails)

2. did a complete system scan in safe mode with system restore off using updated norton anivirus

3. deleted contents of c:/temp, c:/windows/temp , c:/docs and setting/temp folders

4. complete scan with adaware SE, spybot, bitdefender, trendmicro ..... did not find anything.
