Outlook

Some time ago Windows Mail was replaced by Outlook - not something I really wanted but I guess you have to take what Microsoft gives you. What's irritating me is its desire to open at random times. Even when I close it, comes back again.

Does anyone know if there's a way to stop it reviving itself?

There are always alternatives like Thunderbird (free) or Postbox, The Bat (paid). Unless you mean MS just pushed it on the computer, then you could remove it, or do an "office" repair?
One thing it could be is a bad file association, when ever Windows makes a call it launches Outlook as the default app, maybe?
Might have to look a bit closer at how "random" this is.
