I think the description in majorgeeks.com/Outpost_Firewall_Free_d1056.htm "Requires: Win" All is wrong but I don't see anywhere to complain. When I try to install on Win 98SE OS I get a run time error "cannot import dll C:\windows\temp\is-GE16A.tmp\psvince.dll" It makes no sense to require a dll there and I can't find psvince.dll anywhere. I notice at http://www.filehippo.com/download_outpost_firewall/tech/ "Requirements: Windows 2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista / Windows7". I am not trying to make the system bullet proof because the overhead of such an arms race it too high. I could go back to an old copy of zone alarm or try Outpost Firewall Free 1.0 They are about the same size. My idea of protection is have no sensitive info on any computer connected to the internet, put data in a separate partition, and use Norton Ghostpe to restore the program partition if needed.

Win All now means XP and above. Since MS finished supporting all OSes older than XP in July 2010 or earlier, you can safely assume that the All posted here means the MS supported OSes.

Support for 98 ended way back on July 11, 2006.
