Over Clocking my stupid 800 MHZ plz help!

Hey guys, i am a beginer when it comes to Over clocking. Never done it .

Well here is my system specs including my MOBO and evrything that it has.

There are basic things to think about. Cooling, airflow in the case, and a good heatsink. I can't really OC because my board is too tempermental, or just plain mental, but a lot of it is indicitive of what settings for clock speeds your BIOS allows. If you don't have a good heatsink and cooling your processor will generate too much heat and too much heat is a computers worst enemy. I have both my windows open in the winter and an airconditioning unit in my window during the hot seasons so my computer doesnt get to hot. I have 5 case fans and a nice swiftech heatsink over the CPU with an 80mm vantec tornado blowing on it, not because i overclock but because my computer generates serious heat and runs into problems gaming. If you don't have good airflow in your case and sufficient cooling don't even think about OCing cause you'll just end up with a broken down machine. Just my 2 cents

 

well there are no board jumpers which WAS the traditional way to OC (by chasing multiplyer + FSB) and im sure the BIOS isnt anything that compares to mobos of 4yrs ago. Even if you did manage to get the freq and change them; i doubt that you would find anything of an improvement doing so.

 

So, your mobo BIOS gives you options to up your fsb?
