i just upgraded my computer last week.... and i was on a budget
    here are the specs

    ECS Elitegroup 755-A2
AMD Athlon64 3000+ with a zalman heatsink and artic silver 5 runnin at 2002.4MHz
Kingston PC3200 512MB i will get a gig when i get more money
XTASY Radeon 9600 256MB succesfully overclocked to 351Mhz
    Hercules Sound Card
    Netgear Networking Card
    Antec Blower
    Antec Sonota Case
    Samsung crappy hdd
    and crappy cdrw

i need to get the baby moving.... i no its not an extreme machine... but i just want it a little faster... i would like to over clock it at least by like 50 to 100 mhz so i can have some bragging rights with my friends lol

Go into BIOS and play with your FSB, raising it little by little until you find a place thats stable and fast!

Also after you get the overclocking you want download prime95 and run the torture test(put the priority high). Also i didn't see if you had hyperthreading so if you do have it copy the prime95 folder and the program of the copied folder put for a name prime95b.exe (not the folder, the program in itself) even if you do have the cpu at 100% (which is what you want) you can still run any program while running prime95 as long as you put a higher priority for that program. (the minimum time you should run it is 6 hours straight to test stability, but 24 hours is the recommended time.) also remember that you might run any program while overclocked and be stable, but prime95 might tell you its not.thats because prime95 uses 100% of the cpu and other programs don't. ;)

No offence, but forget about overclocking with that mobo.
The ECS mobo's usually have enough problems without causing extra stress through overclocking, besides, overclocking for the bragging rights is rediculous.
Overclocking voids your warranty, decreases the lifetime of the components involved and can create more problems.

If I was You I do not order ESC mobo it not good at all....and netgear net work card I will order a Mobo of DFI, Asus, MSI with dual lan one 100 and other 1000.

Like others members said you login Bios and changing Vcore, Vdim, FSB, Ratio, timmings of ram, Vga ..... if your Mobo support all

geekedittilitGHz contacted me over AIM he found FSB settings in his bis and last i heard he was running 215FSB+ and is running prime 95... He sais he just got the mobo so getting an new one is not an option...But i agree ECS is crap....Im suprised that it has FSB settings in the bios.....
