Overclocking a Dell Inspiron 8500...is it possible?

    Hey, just curious if there is any possible way to overclock a Dell Inspiron 8500 Laptop or is there a BIOS I can download that has all the nessecary overclocking features that Dell just LOVES to leave out. I'd appreciate any input.

    Dell Inspiron 8500
    Mobile Pentium 4, 2.4 Ghz
    1024 MB RAM
    Windows XP Professional SP1

    OCing a laptop = bad idea ( overheating )
    OCing a name brand PC ( dell, compaq, HP,etc ) = hard to do if not impossible
    so as far as OCing goes you have the worst of both worlds :rolleyes: ......
