ok i read that, and from what i can tell i don't think my system will over clock much, but maybe i'm wrong, i included a report form everest with the specs and for a psu i right now have in it a antec 380W supply but i also have a antec 480W supply just sitting around if needed.

The 380 is probably on the weak side, plug in that 480W it should be fine
One of the most important things is you need is Good Clean Stable Power & enough of it.

Do you know if your CPU is locked multiplier?
Regardless Locked or not, You should be able to raise the FSB to 200 maybe
Only Raise the FSB by couple MHz at a time then boot, get to where you can boot back off a few MHz then run some stability test's
With your System, The memory & CPU need run at the same FSB, 1:1
Ya might have to raise the CPU voltage to hit 200fsb or more

Be careful, Overclocking can Kill hardware when not done correctly:eek:
Too much voltage to the CPU can Kill it instantly

If you cant affford to Kill some hardware maybe you shouldnt OC
Read the guide again, unsure of something ask questions, Google or whatever.

ok thanks for the advice, i found a guide online that has my motherboard on their. first the multiplier is locked. they got it stable at a 205mhx fsb, increasing the vdimm voltage to max(i can't find vdimm anywhere in the bios all i got is dram voltage), they also raised the cores voltage to max, only board its listed as 10%, i guess that would bring the core from the 1.65 its not to something like 1.815V. they said that at 188mhz they had to raise the voltage 5%. here is the link if you want to read it, the bios settings are on pages 8-10 and the over clock they did is on page 10 LINK thanks for the help.
