What does it mean when at bootup my pc says that Overclocking failed! Please enter Setup to re-configure your system. Press F1 to run SETUP. Press F2 to load default values and continue.

I just hooked it up to a new lcd monitor, and I just placed a new additional 1gig Ram. Any idea what is the problem and what I should do and how?

hit f2 and let it boot. it appears bios was just reacting to the new ram.the monitor should detect in windows after os loads

    What motherboard are you using?

    What type of RAM are you using? (I.E. DDR/DDR2 266, 333, 400, 533, etc...)

What happens when you REMOVE the extra 1 gig of ram?

    edit

Or just ignore my post IF ibbonkers answer has good info.

I'd shutdown and restart (not reboot) the machine to see if you still get this same query.
