havent posted in a LONG TIME, anyways, i just upgraded from my trusty old 9700PRO to an x800 pro and wanted to see what i could get out of it, the x800 default speeds are 472/445, i got a zalman passive cooler, and slapped a huge fan on that thing and got it to 502/575 STABLE, the temperature is ok and it hasnt frozen up on me at all, how long should i expect this card to last me before it blows up on me???? anyone with experience with this card, please comment

BTW i gained 700 on 3dmark01 and gained more than a thousand on 3dmark03 and on CS source i was getting 79.9 FPS, with OCed i get 92.24 FPS

im going to try to get the core speed up to XT speed which is am impressive 520mhz, would i need to adjust the voltage? and i am going to try a better brand of thermal grease and try to get some better airflow throughout the case, i dont think liquid cooling would help much because i havent heard of liquid AGP coolers cooling the RAM too, BUT a vapochill/refrigerated case might do the trick

i've had mine stable at 526/560 without any problems, temp gets up to about 65-70ish deg under load. I had it clocked to around 560/560 scored a 12687 in 3dmark03 and a 3980 in 05 but im to scared to leave it there lest it burst into flames.

what kind of cooling set up do you have for your radeon? because i can get my memory WAY up there, up to 593 stable, but my core speed doesnt go past 510 without freezing up, i think i need to use better thermal paste or get a more powerful fan

I have an x800 xt. How do I over clock that. I am to overclocking so I am not really sure how to go about doing it. I have an Asus A8V motherboard and and FX55 processor.
