I have a store bought HP Pavilion a520n. 2.20 Ghz. 512MB. 64MB graghics card shared. 2 Fan's, one in the back and one for the CPU. My computer is running EXTREMLY HOT  145 Degree's kinda hot. I guess I need a new heatsink and fan. I wanna take the heatsink and fan off to clean it. But I dont know how to do that. Any help will be GLADLY appreciated. THANKS!

Another thing you could do is install another fan. They make so many different types of fans in so many ways. If you have a couple of slots not being used then you could get one that attaches itself to there and cool things off quite a bit. A guy at our local Microcenter store told me about that not but a couple of days ago.

I'm also not sure if you've actually blown a lot of dust that can collect inside the computer, but doing that doesn't hurt either since dust would clog the fans up in the power supply as well as the CPU and chasis.

    Hopefully this helps you out.
