My friend and I had a big arguement over what is illegal to download on free p2p programs. I believe that you cant dwnld copyrighted material. He says you can download copyrighted material and it is legal as long as you dont share it. can some1 help? thanks

You're right. If your friend downloads copyrighted material from someone else, that's still sharing. Didn't your friend learn in kindergarten that sharing goes both ways?;):D

It's federal copyright law, made by Congress. Ask any lawyer.
