No idea, they all come with a risk, I have used Limewire and very few others. The amount of people using them is important.

Speed and No viruses.

Bit Torrent- Azureus does just fine for big files, Frostwire for mp3's. Always run an AV check on the files before opening!

It's called Itunes etc., p2p software is virus free but what you grab may not be. TANSTAAFL applies here. Since you hate Windows, hit the *nix world if you're up for it.
