I know that the Azureus bittorrent client supports packet encryption. What are you currently using?

Newnova.org is a bittorrent site, not a client. You only download torrent files from newnova, and open it in your client, which will download the actual file from a group of peers. Neither the site nor the peers will encrypt the data. Torrent sites only have torrent files, and there's no need to. Peers are so numerous and independant that there's no way you could get them all to turn on encryption. Your client will. I don't know what client you use, but if you were to switch to Azureus (see link below), you would definitely have this functionality.
