P2P & Update problems

I recently have encountered connectivity problems with some of my software. For example, My Adobe automatic Updates will sal "not connected to the internet, check connection and try again". I am in fact fully connected at the time.

Here's anothr example, one of my P2P programs (Warez) will say "cannot find www.warez.com" however, I can access the site through internet explorer.

Any thoughts as to what might be happening? Thanks as always.
