"Page cannot be found" issue

Hi:

I have a collegue who just posted the following to our message board. Unfortunately, this isn't my field and thought I would bring the issue here for the experts in hopes of getting some input as to what might resolve this:

Posting quickly as I can only stay online for a few before I get a page cannot be found.

I have peoplepc

runnign Windows XPPro

I connect and about 3-5 minutes into being online NOTHING will come up, no matter what.

I've run ad aware, spybot, avg ,etc.

When advised that it might be a board/server issue, my collegues posted:

Unfortunately, this time it IS me. I can't get anywhere after a few minutes-most of the time I wasn't even here lol. Since I'm on a borrowed computer I'm a bit lost anyway, but getting that page cannot be found after a few, then having to get offline and reconnect, etc. I'm getting nothing done.

Any suggestions or direction would be greatly appreciated.
