I recently (today) installed a new Hard Drive. I heard, from somewhere, that it would be good to move my page/swap file to a seperate drive then the one that contains XP. I know I can move Photoshop's swap file to the new hard drive, but I don't know how to do that either. :\

    Help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Go into your control panel, and choose System. Click the Advanced tab, and click "Settings" in the Performance box. Choose the Advanced tab, and click Change in the Virtual memory box. Highlight the drive you DON'T want the pagefile on, and click the radio button by "No paging file, then click "set"

Then highlight the drive you want it on, and either fill in the amount of megs you want the pagefile to be, or click System managed size,, then click set.

    Reboot and be happy. :)

specify a size, for better performance, do not let windows manage the size. 2.5 times your ram is a good place to start
