pagefile+hyberfil are HUGE

All of a sudden (seemingly) my pagefile is reading 1,572,864KB and my hyberfil is reading 1,047,924KB -I've tried deleting both but keep getting the message: "It is being used by another person/program" -I have tried deleting in safe mode with the same results.
Anyone know how I can fix this -or what could have started it in the first place?

Those are normal file sizes for your 1GB RAM If you don't need hibernation then you can just cancel it. As for the pagefile, you can move it elsewhere and/or change it's size. I leave mine at default on it's own partition though that's my preference. There are many opinions on optimum pagefile size.

BTW I just saw you have a 250GB drive, just leave them be. You've got plenty of space and they won't get any bigger.
