Pages loading slow

Hey everyone! I have a laptop not even a year old. I use Iolo technologies and System Mechanic. I have very little downloaded on my computer because I want to keep it running well. I have noticed that whenever a page loads with a lot of pics on it (like US Magazine website) it loads very slow. Once the page loads it is ok. It does not hang or anything it just takes a while sometimes. Also, if I want to open like 10 tabs at a time when I get to the
6th tab or so it freezes for a minute or longer until it loads. Any advice on what I can do?
