PAL Spyware removal trap

Hello,
After finally mastering the trick of getting rid of wwwcoolsearch and Co. (well almost) I have been hit with another shocker. A new window pops up out of the blue saying the computer is infected with spyware. A different address appears each time directing you there for the removal tools. Each time the address is different but is usually windows.net or something similar. A page selling surveys also appears. Each time I have followed the address (interesting it is not a link) I end up on the PAL Spyware page. They wont reply unless you buy their product.....? And just to make sure you pay attention to them a shutdown timer starts which I cannot override. Anyone have this problem or even beter a solution...

Credit where credit is due. I managed to track down a non-automated link on the PAL site and they have replied. They think it may be one of their Resellers running amok and have offered to help. I still have the problem though, so any help would be appreciated
