Palm issue

hey guys,

i'm trying to set up my palm tx with my linksys WRT54G router. It finds the connection and connects, but swebpages don't work. Also, if i put the setting of the wifi in the palm as automatic, it says connecting, then times out by saying obtaining ip address. So i tried just putting in the ip address, subnet mask, router and the gateways myself and that just gives the connection but nothing actually works (webpages.etc)

wondering if there is sumthing i missed

Heyas! My wife and I both have Palm TX's and can connect with our home connection. We use a Netgear W624 router and a DSL connection. Set up takes a bit of effort as it seems like you have to "setup" in at least 2-3 place (in Preferences and the Wi-Fi set up itself), but it sounds like you managed that just fine since you connect. The Palm supplied browser, Blazer, is a bit tricky and can have conflicts with other software. I won't profess to know the answers but below is a link to Brighthand, a VERY useful PDA/Palm site with very helpful user boards and some active guru types who dispense advice. I think the software conflict is something you should check out.

thx for ur reply, i fixed it a few days ago but forgot i had posted for help here haha. seems like the problem was due to connecting either to a remote something, haha i forgot, but its fixed. it was basically in the wifi set up.
